Talent Plus Associates to Speak at the National Police of Colombia Summit

Talent Plus associates Josh Berry and Andrés Traslaviña are featured presenters at the “First Annual National and International Selection and Recruitment Processes Summit” on July 27 and 28 in Bogotá, Colombia.  The summit is presented by the National Police of Colombia and will focus on sharing knowledge around continually improving the selection and development processes within organizations.  HR Directors of the 50 largest companies in Colombia, the Director of Human Talent for the National Police and many other high profile business leaders will be in attendance.

Berry will lead participants through “Eight Recruitment Strategies of Successful Companies.”  Many organizations put more emphasis on the development and training of their employees than the recruitment and selection of talented individuals.  If the goal is to achieve performance excellence, both the selection and the development of the right people are important.  Without a doubt, the majority of organizations can multiply the effectiveness of their training and development plans by putting more emphasis on selecting individuals with high potential to achieve excellence.  In the session, Berry will share eight recruitment strategies practiced by some of the most innovative organizations and HR professionals in the world.

Traslaviña’s presentation, “The Science of Talent ®,” will discuss selection processes as a foundation to maximize individual talent and development.  During this session, he will review the scientific selection processes as a foundation to create development plans.  The principles of The Science of Talent are based on the philosophy of strength-management and positive psychology.  The culture of an organization is determined by who is selected, promoted and developed through the organization.  Leaders who promote the value of their human capital are those who achieve world-class success.
